Who can nominate?

Anyone can nominate an organisation or individual. You can nominate yourself, the organisation you work for, or any other organisation or individual.

Who can be nominated?

Some award categories are for an individual person – Person of the Year and Future Hydrogen Leader. Other categories are for organisations – Innovation Excellence, Industry Impact, Hydrogen Transport and Our People award. 

All nominations must be directly related to the hydrogen industry, and persons working within the industry, and their role in advancing the transition to a low emissions future. See the Awards Criteria above for more information.

How are the award winners selected?

Once nominations close, the Awards Selection Panel (to be announced soon) will review all nominations. The Awards Selection Panel will assess all nominations on merit against the awards criteria and vote on each category to select the 2023 Aotearoa Hydrogen Award Winners.

When will the winners be announced?

The winners will be announced during the Aotearoa Hydrogen Awards Ceremony to be held during on 7 September 2023 during the prestigious Gala Dinner of the H2 2 ZERO Summit at Tākina in Wellington.

Can I attend the Awards Ceremony?

We invite all nominees and members of the hydrogen industry to attend this awards evening and celebrate the impressive achievements of these world-class leaders.
